Jeff: You know, I wanted “a normal life.” I remember, I probably said that out loud, but I certainly said it to myself. And that’s what I had in my head and that’s what I wanted, even though I was gay.
Seelie: So how did you define that normal life?
Jeff: Yeah, that’s really interesting. You know, a good life. A life of integrity. A life of honesty. A life of treating people properly, of working hard, building a home, um… building a reputation for myself that was something I could be proud of.
